Domelevo’s name removed from suit challenging his leave directive

The Supreme Court has cancelled names of the Auditor-General Daniel Domelovo and acting Auditor-General Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu in a suit challenging the President’s order for the Auditor-General to progress on leave.

CDD-fellow and US-based Ghanaian lawyer, Professor Kwaku Asare filed legal action against Attorney General and the two others over the President’s order to the Auditor-General to progress on leave.

It was the lawsuit of the applicant that the command by the President is contrary to the constitution and therefore has to be revoked.

On Wednesday in Court when the lawsuit was taken before a seven-member panel chaired by Justice Jones Dotse, the supreme court cancelled their names after the Attorney General made an oral petition for them to be evicted.
