“Do The Work Of Leadership And Stop Investing In Propaganda”- Bernard Avle To President Nana Akufo-Addo

Award-winning journalist, Bernard Avle of CitiFM has sent a strong message to President Akufo-Addo following a massive outcry from Ghanaians on social media to fix the country.

In the past few days, Ghanaians on social media have taken the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government to task by outlining the various issues slowing Ghana’s growth and its effects on citizens.

Bernard Avle speaking on his show Point of View on CitiTV, told President Akufo-Addo to act as a leader and fix the country.

According to him, President Akufo-Addo should take the #FixTheCountry in good faith and start working towards it.

He further stated that the president should let his good works speak for him and stop investing in propaganda.

Bernard Avle also reminded President Akufo-Addo on some of the comments he made prior to the 2016 elections and tagging former president John Mahama as ‘dumsor.’

“A leader’s response to criticisms determine the quality of leaders they are. Take it in good faith and start working now,” he said.

“Do the work of a leader, let’s stop investing propaganda, and paying people to go on social media and insult others. Do the work and let your works speak for you,” he added.
