Speaking during an interview on Channel One TV’s *Citiuation Room*, Opoku revealed that although an official declaration is yet to be made, Dr. Acheampong is fully committed to entering the race once the party opens nominations.
“I think that the committee is finalising its report, but I can confidently tell you that he is determined to contest and very soon the Ghanaian people would hear from him,” he stated.
He also praised Dr. Acheampong’s leadership skills and strategic outlook, noting that he has what it takes to lead the country and assemble the necessary human capital to drive development.
“Bryan Acheampong possesses what it takes to move Ghana forward, and he’s got the ability to marshal resources in terms of the human capital needed to move Ghana forward. He’s got a clearer vision, which very soon we are planning to let Ghanaians know, especially the NPP delegates,” Opoku added.
