Accra-based Angel FM confirmed the suspension of its morning show host, Captain Smart, from the Anopa Bofour show.
The station’s General Manager, Kwadwo Dickson, has revealed Captain Smart was suspended by their boss for utterances he made on the show.

Speaking in a video sighted by Ghanaarticles.com, the Angel FM GM explained that Captain Smart had been suspended not for criticizing the government but for personal attacks on members of the government.
Sammy Gyamfi added his voice to Captain Smart’s suspension from Angel FM.
According to him, Dr Kweku Oteng must bow down his head in shame for suspending a journalist who speaks the truth.
It has been heavily reported that the owner of the ABN, Dr Kweku Oteng was under pressure from some NPP bigwigs to get rid of Captain Smart.
