Bishop Salifu Amoako Seeks Court Order to Halt Media from Publishing Son’s Images

Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, and his wife, Mouha Amoako, appeared in court for a second time concerning their son’s involvement in a fatal East Legon accident. The couple, alongside their assistant, Linda Owusu-Bempah, is charged with allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a vehicle.

During the court proceedings, Bishop Salifu requested an order to prevent the media and police from publishing images of their son, Elrad, citing privacy and well-being concerns due to his minor status.

This request follows the October 12 accident that tragically claimed the lives of two teenagers. Elrad, who was seriously injured, remains unfit for court appearances or police questioning, as confirmed in a recent medical report from the University of Ghana Medical Centre. He is currently recovering from ankle dislocations, facial lacerations, and ligament injuries, and was discharged on October 28.
