BET Awards 2021: Ghana Misses Out As Nigerians get 2 Nominations

No Ghanaian artiste earned a nomination at the 2021 Black Entertainment Television Awards (BET).

It was expected that the level of engagement by the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale during the year would secure them a nomination.

WizKid and Burna Boy were nominated in the Best International Act category.

Diamond Platnumz of Tanzania is also a contender for the award.

The BET Awards honours individuals who have excelled during the year under review in the areas of music, acting, sports, and other entertainment fields.

This year’s event will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles in the United States of America.
