Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo Appointed Chairman of 5th Ghana Music Awards-USA Board

 

The Ghana Music Awards – USA Executive Council has appointed Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo as the new Chairman of the Board for the upcoming 5th edition of the awards.

Bringing with him extensive experience in the creative industry, Mr. Asamoah-Baidoo, a seasoned PR/Communications Manager, has previously collaborated with various brands, artists, and events.

Joining him on the Board are notable figures including renowned music producers David Kyei (Kaywa) and Kwame Micky, as well as media personalities Halifax Ansah-Addo, Frank Kwabena Owusu (Franky 5), and events expert Mrs. Whitney Boakye Mensah.

Completing the roster are Mike Tamakloe, Emmanuel Kusi Mensah, Nathan Pryce, Joshua Tigo, and Dennis K. Boafo, with Jeeje Hagan serving as the Board’s Secretary.

Additionally, the GMA-USA team includes Nana Poku Ashis as Communications Director, Papa Bills as Country Representative, and Eugene Osafo Nkansah as the official blogger for the 5th edition.

The Board’s responsibilities include overseeing the categorization and nomination process for the awards, culminating in the official Nominees Announcement scheduled for April 20, 2024.

Nominees for the 5th edition will be honored with a ‘Certificate of Nomination’ during a special event to be announced by the organizers.
