Akufo-Addo Encourages New Voters to Register in Limited Registration Exercise

President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo has urged recently turned 18-year-old Ghanaians to participate in the ongoing limited voter registration exercise conducted by the Electoral Commission. He emphasized that those wishing to vote in the upcoming December election must register.

Addressing a mini rally in Dobro after visiting Blue Skies Limited, President Akufo-Addo expressed his desire to see Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia elected as President of Ghana after the December polls.

“This is our election year, and the limited registration has begun. Anyone who hasn’t registered and is eligible should go and register because your right to vote is your power,” President Akufo-Addo stated.

He also emphasized the importance of voting for continuity, saying, “I am pleading with you to vote for the person I have worked with for the past seven and half years. I have faith in him, and I know that he will come and continue the work I have begun as Dr. Mahamamudu Bawumia.”

The nationwide limited registration exercise, which began today, May 7, is expected to end on May 20.
