President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama on his decisive win in Ghana’s 2024 Presidential Election. The announcement came after the Electoral Commission, led by its Chairperson, Mrs. Jean Mensa, declared Mahama the victor on Monday, December 9, 2024.

In a phone call, President Akufo-Addo pledged to ensure a seamless transfer of power on January 7, 2025. He expressed his willingness to collaborate with Mahama and his team to facilitate a successful transition process.
