The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has demanded the immediate prosecution of an Electoral Commission (EC) official, Dery Joseph, for allegedly issuing faulty ballots at the Ampesika Bayere polling station in Kintampo South.
The ballots were missing Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s name, leading to concerns of voter disenfranchisement. Dennis Miracles Aboagye, campaign communications director for Dr. Bawumia, condemned the act as deliberate electoral misconduct and urged vigilance at polling stations to prevent future incidents.
