Direct Flights from London to Kumasi Set to Begin December 3

Starting December 3, 2024, travelers will enjoy direct flights between London Gatwick and Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport, thanks to a partnership between Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) and Ethiopian Airlines.

The new service is designed to enhance travel convenience, providing a direct link between Europe and the Ashanti Region, a key hub of cultural heritage and economic activity in Ghana.

The inaugural flight from Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport is scheduled for December 15, just in time for the festive season, offering seamless travel options for holiday visitors to the region.

  • Departure from London Gatwick: 2:10 am
  • Arrival at Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport: 9:05 am

  • Arrival at London Gatwick: 6:00 pm
