Andre Ayew Returns to Le Havre on a One-Year Contract

Ghanaian footballer Andre Ayew has made his return to French club Le Havre on a one-year deal as a free agent for the 2024/25 season. This marks Ayew’s second stint at the club, following a six-month period during the previous season.

The 33-year-old attacker, who first moved to Le Havre last season after his time at Olympique Marseille, has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the current campaign. Ayew’s return is expected to boost the team’s performance, as they currently sit 14th in the Ligue 1 standings after six matches.

During his previous spell with Le Havre, Ayew contributed five goals in 19 appearances, helping the club avoid relegation. Prior to his return to France, Ayew had a long career in England, where he played for clubs including Swansea City, West Ham United, and Nottingham Forest. He also spent time with Fenerbahçe in Turkey and Al Sadd in Qatar.
