2025 AFCONQ: Otto Addo Announces Black Stars Squad for Doubleheader Against Sudan

Ghana coach Otto Addo has released a 25-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers doubleheader against Sudan. Key players such as Alexander Djiku and Gideon Mensah have returned to the team after missing the previous matches. FC Samartex’s left-back Isaac Afful also received his debut call-up following impressive performances.

Additionally, forwards Ernest Nuamah of Lyon and Ibrahim Sulemana of Atalanta are back in the squad after recovering from injuries. The Black Stars will face Sudan in Accra on October 10 before traveling to Libya for the second leg on October 14.

The team will be aiming to recover from their slow start to the qualifiers, where they lost 1-0 to Angola and drew 1-1 with Niger.
