Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar or Freedom Jacob Caesar, who is running as an independent candidate in the upcoming December 2024 presidential election, has sparked controversy with his remarks on the mentality of Ghanaians. During a campaign forum, Cheddar responded to a question about why he doesn’t use his wealth to help Ghana before becoming President.
Cheddar stated, “The mentality of this country is very poor and it is very bad.” He clarified that he wasn’t targeting the individual who asked the question, but rather highlighting a widespread mindset where people believe that wealthy individuals should automatically share their money.
Cheddar, who has launched a movement called “The New Force,” is currently on a campaign tour as he seeks to bring change to Ghana.
