The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to unveil its manifesto for the 2024 general elections on Saturday, August 24. The event will take place at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium at the University of Education, Winneba, in the Central Region.
Key figures within the party, including members of the National Executive Committee, the Council of Elders, sitting Members of Parliament, parliamentary candidates, and other distinguished guests from the diplomatic community, religious leaders, traditional authorities, civil society organizations, academics, labour groups, and the creative arts sector, will attend the launch.
Former President John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer, will be the Special Guest of Honor at the occasion.
According to the party’s Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, the manifesto will present the NDC’s transformational vision for “resetting and building the Ghana we want.” Various speakers will address the nation on these thematic areas during the event.
The general public and media are invited to attend, with all attendees expected to be seated by 11 am. Media houses planning to cover the event are advised to contact the National Communications Bureau of the NDC for necessary accreditation.
