The Ghana Police Service has initiated a manhunt for two gunmen responsible for the tragic shooting of two off-duty police officers. The sad incident occurred on Thursday, 2nd May 2024, around 6:00 pm at Block Factory, East Trasacco, Accra.
The gunmen, who were on a motorbike, approached the officers who were sitting in front of their private residence. Without any apparent motive, the gunmen opened fire, resulting in the death of both officers.
Shockingly, the assailants did not steal anything from the victims before fleeing the scene.
In response to this heinous act, the Ghana Police Service has launched an intelligence-led operation to apprehend the suspects. .
