Members of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong and Sylvester Tetteh have successfully resolved their differences after a tense encounter within the parliamentary halls.

Initially sparking concerns of escalating tensions, the confrontation between the two MPs has transitioned into a positive outcome, thanks to the prompt intervention of the majority leadership.

The altercation unfolded during what seemed to be a routine exchange of greetings, as Sylvester Tetteh, representing Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfro constituency, attempted to extend pleasantries to Kennedy Agyapong upon his entrance into the chamber.

However, tensions flared when Mr. Agyapong, MP for Assin Central, reacted unfavorably, triggering a verbal clash between the two members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Insider sources reveal that a closed-door meeting, facilitated by Deputy Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo Markin, played a pivotal role in de-escalating the situation.

During the meeting, both Agyapong and Tetteh were afforded the opportunity to voice their grievances, leading to a constructive dialogue and eventual reconciliation between the two parliamentarians.
