The upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Primaries in Dome Kwabenya Constituency are poised to see 1,840 delegates exercising their voting rights this Saturday. Mr. Osei Bonsu, the NPP Constituency Chair for Dome Kwabenya, confirmed that extensive preparations, involving candidates, the Electoral Commission (EC), police, and other stakeholders, have been made for the polls.

According to Mr. Bonsu, nearly all preparations are complete, with accreditation provided to all delegates. He emphasized the importance of maintaining calm during the elections, advising candidates to ensure their supporters behave responsibly. The delegates encompass the council of elders, patrons, coordinators, and constituency executives.

Polling hours are scheduled to be between 7 am and 2 pm on Saturday. The primary contest primarily involves the incumbent, Ms. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, and Mr. Mike Oquaye Jnr, with a new contender, Ms. Sheela Sakyi Oppong Adoma, emerging as a third force.
