Controversy Arises as Mzbel’s Son Challenges Belief in God and Religion

Kwame Adepa, popularly known as Okomfo Black and the son of renowned Ghanaian Hiplife musician and entrepreneur, Belinda Akua Amoah, also known as Mzbel, has sparked a heated discussion with his bold opinion regarding the existence of God and religion.

In a recent interview, the 10-year-old expressed his disbelief in the notion that human beings were created by a divine entity. Instead, he firmly stated that humans are born through the biological process of childbirth, attributing his existence solely to his mother.

Referring to the prevalent religion in Ghana, Christianity, Okomfo Black dismissed the idea of a supernatural being creating humanity. When asked about who created him, he confidently responded, “My mother did, she gave birth to me. I believe through science, human beings were born, not created. And if human beings were created, I never got to see God as my father or my mother.”

Furthermore, the young boy refused to credit God for his well-being, highlighting his mother as the sole provider for his basic needs. He emphasized that Mzbel takes care of his food, clothing, and school fees, while doubting any financial contribution from a divine source. Consequently, Okomfo Black expressed his lack of gratitude towards God, asserting that he sees his mother as the only caregiver in his life.
