‘Me Seff I Wear Banku Saa’ – Shatta Wale Confesses

Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has advised his fans that it is not wrong to fake it till you make it.

In a series of tweets, admitted to rocking fake products which he described as ‘banku’ when he was still a newbie in the industry and struggling to be commercially successful as an artist before he got to this level where he can afford to buy everything.

His comments followed after rapper Sarkodie cautioned fans to avoid wearing fake products shortly after a tweep advertised his business online, selling sneakers worth ₵300.

Shatta Wake interjected saying;

“Me sef I wear banku saaaa Ibe now weh I start see diamonds I beg you sir ..sorri (in Taju voice,”

“You can wear fake certain times in life which is allowed because of situation but don’t live a fake life broo ..niggas can roast u up.”

“Life is original , material things will always be fake ..Don’t follow the world follow God bro,”

“I just hear your king sark news from konko Sheldon my best friend Rolling on the floor laughing and I think at this point we need an apology from kabutey to every fan,” he wrote.
