Captain Smart has explained what led to his arrest saying someone tried setting him up for a bribe and the National Security was tipped off to stand on that and arrest him.
The whereabouts of Captain Smart weren’t known after being granted bail by a court yesterday but later in the evening he was found and led out the cat out of the bag explaining how he was set up for bribe and what happened with the National Security.
According to him, he was at the audition of TV3’s Talented Kids when he had a call that a parcel has arrived for him and upon reaching there and about to open the parcel, some members of the National Security arrived claiming they had a tip that someone was going to bribe him.
They weren’t ahead to check him but saw nothing and then one of the National Security members claimed the evidence they are looking for is in the pocket of the other person standing with him and it all points out clear that someone tried setting him up.
Speaking about what happened at the national security, Captain Smart said he was taken to court and was granted bail but the National Security did things in a way that he wasn’t released from their custody even though he knew that before going to court.
