After revealing some acts of Bishop Daniel Obinim which were tagged as criminal acts and was charged for them, Hon. Kenedy Agyapong has revealed that his stepfather and Obinim’s father are cousins.
Speaking with Paul Otchere on Good Evening Ghana, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said:
‘You know the irony of the whole thing. Obinim’s father and my stepfather are cousins, real cousins.’ He said.
Hon. Kennedy made this revelation when he remembered what triggered the beef between Obinim and him.
He stated that the whole thing started when he ridiculed Obinim of how he has become an international ridicule due to when a Nigerian lady was teasing him (obinim) when he said he has a cure for Coronavirus through his oil. The Assin central lawmaker revealed that due to Obinim’s misunderstanding of ridicule, he sent his boys to come warn him. According to Hon. Kennedy, those boys Obinim sent are all armed robbers because their appearances and looks does not portray they are men of God.
‘When you look at their faces then you ask yourself, are these guys really men of God? Their appearance, their looks.’
The beefs between the outspoken politician and Obinim was a buzz on social media when the politician threatened to deal with the head of the International God’s way church which he did.
