Ghanaian internet sensation, Twene Jonas has taken swipe on the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta following his comment he made during his delivery speech at University of Professional Studies to graduates.
Recently, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta advised graduates of the University of Professional Studies to start their own businesses.
Speaking to fresh graduates at the Accra based University, the Finance Minister said the government payroll is full with not space to accommodate new employees.
“… most people look for a job from government or state institutions, but that payroll is full. I can tell you that because we are spending about 60 percent of our revenue on remunerating some 650,000 people, and that is not sustainable,” he said.
The co-founder of Data Bank urged the graduates to make good use of their entrepreneurial skills because using it effectively creates wealth.
Following this, the Vlogger took Twitter to school the Finance Minister on what it means to become a leader.
According to him, the main the responsibility of a leader is define reality. He explained leadership as the capacity to translate vision into a reality.
In other words, the Ghanaian Vlogger was trying to tell Ken Ofori-Atta that he’s not a good leader.
He went on to say that these are some of the reasons why he will continue to press on them until they start doing the right thing.
He further added that the Finance Minister is making noise, his primary job as a leader is to create jobs for the youth.
