Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Hon. Sam George has been trending on Twitter for doing the right thing.
Ghanaians on Twitter are singing the praises of Sam George for his zeal and passion to quench the activities of LGBTQ activities in Ghana.
The NDC MP has stepped out as one of the top politicians in Ghana to strongly campaign for a bill to pass in order to criminalize LGBTQ activities in the country.
Recall, the MP for Ningo-Prampram threatened to beat the hell out of the Australian High Commissioner to Ghana for promoting LGBTQ activities in the country.
Recently, the Speaker of Parliament, Mr Alban Bagbin said that LGBTQ is more dangerous than Covid-19 and needed to be dealt with in seriousness.
Soon after, in a viral video, the lawmakers were seen in an intense prayer meeting, praying against LGBTQ while they prepared a bill to be passed by Parliament to criminalize their activities.

So Sam George came to rant and was distressed about the health system because someone he knew died as a result of a broken system..He had the opportunity to sponsor a bill in parliament and he chose people’s sex life??? Make it make sense pls

Y’all slandered Sister Derby and Micheal Essien for promoting LGBTQ but you people still seem to have a problem when Sam George and parliament is about passing a bill which goes against it. What at all does the ordinary Ghanaian want? pic.twitter.com/mdpHYNVyDm

Good move by Sam George. Parliament should pass the bill, let our donors deny us aid. Then boooomm, Nana Addo's "Ghana beyond aid" will be achieved.
A very simple way of achieving our target since independence. 🤗
