Takoradi based rapper, Ayesem picks musician Sista Afia over Eno and Freda Rhymes in the beefs between some of the female artistes.
According to him, he’s impressed with the punchlines Sista Afia gave and that Sista Afia is known to be a singer and not a rapper.
Currently, there have been lots of controversies over the release of ‘WMT’ by Sista Afia on the 22nd of April,2020.
The song has received counter jabs from Eno Barony who released (Rap Goddess) and Freda Rhymes who also released (KMT).
Ayesem told MzGee on Tv3 Newday that he’s really loving the on-going beef between these female artistes.
Commenting on who is his favorite when he was asked, he disclosed that “my favorite so far is Sista Afia, because someone like Sista Afia being a singer and that rapping like that, I was really really shocked. Trust me, the punchlines in there were amazing”.
He further stated that in the second song by Sista Afia, ‘You Got Nerves’, “there’s so much power in that freestyle”.
However, he gave shoutouts to Eno and Freda Rhymz for their new release.
Ayesem who is a Takoradi based rapper stated that beefs are good for the industry and he doesn’t see any thing wrong with it.
“I think it’s really helped the industry especially in this lockdown season. It makes people happy and then feel like at least there’s a future in GH rap. It’s really healthy to me if you ask me. It’s normal. Beefs are part of rap”. The takoradi based rapper said.
