Help Build Synergy Between Artistes Technology -Okyeame Kwame To Akuffo-Addo.

Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame has made an appeal to President Akuffo-Addo to build some synergy amongs artistes, content creators and technology.

He believes that such move will help people in the creative space earn more from their craft.

The award winning rapper speaking in an interview with Giovani Caleb on 3FM pleaded with the president to also emulate some of the initiatives that has been implemented in Kenya.

The Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta recently directed the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage to set aside ksh.100million to cushion local artistes from effects of Covid-19.

Okyeame Kwame suggested that building synergy between technology, content creators and artistes will put money in their pockets.

He also asked for an incentive for people in the creative space for the future .

The rapper disclosed that he’s launching a platform called ‘Lalafio’-little music on Friday, May 8,2020 where people can listen to live music from top musicians whilst at home for a minimum fee.

That is a way you get your entertainment and get to support the creatives financially. Artistes can come in and have a Batch Pay Band play for them at a minimum fee” he stated.

Airing his views on the Coronavirus pandemic, he said he acknowledges how there is national consciousness over the pandemic and commended how the President handled the pandemic in the country.

The award winning rapper advised that during this period, it is a good time to “meditate, reflect, write music,write a book and be artistic and also dig deep into your inner creativity”. He said this when he was asked about his advise on ‘Survivor 101’ to musicians and music lovers during this Covid-19 period.

Okyeame Kwame also disclosed that he was booked for lots of program but due to the Coronavirus, all his bookings have been cancelled.

He advised Ghanaians to protect themselves as well as build their immune system in order not to be affected by the virus.
