‘My Father Was Almost Invincible In My Life’ – Joe Mettle Shares A Heartbreaking Childhood Story [Video]

Multiple award-winning gospel musician, Joe Mettle has shared a heartbreaking story about his father while growing up as a child.

The Bo Noo Ni crooner received an award at the maiden edition of Wilmar Ghana Father’s Day Awards and dinner night.

The ceremony was held at Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra ahead of Father’s Day celebration tomorrow.

After receiving the award, Joe Mettle said his father was almost invincible in his life.

According to him, his father was there but it looked like he wasn’t around.

He further noted that, he met many fathers in life who took the role of his father and guided him to where he is today.

He described the award as something that means a lot to him after thanking Wilmar.

“Growing up I literally saw my father, he was there but it’s like he was not there may until a certain time of my life,” Joe Mettle revealed.

He also took the opportunity to urge all fathers to take care of children who are not their biological children.

Meanwhile, actress Salma Mumin has also shared the effect of her parents’ divorce on her life.

During an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, she recounted some difficult times she faced after her parents decided to end their romantic relationship.

Speaking nearly at the point of breaking down, she sounded like she was still dealing with the pain from her past.
