For many who complained, power has not been stable in their areas these and they were wondering if ‘dumsor’, the erratic power situation which crippled the nation a few years ago, is back.
But GRIDCo has stated the nationwide power outage is as a result of a temporal challenge they are facing at the moment.
In a statement sighted by Ghanaarticles.com, GRIDCo explained that a challenge in the power system which happened at about 2:01 pm has led to a total shutdown of the system.
It is this shutdown that has “led to the interruption of power supply to all parts of the country.”

The statement assured that the company’s technical team was “working to restore power supply to all bulk supply points (BSPs) in the country.”
