A tragic incident occurred on Thursday evening, August 15, 2024, in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region, where a woman in her forties reportedly died after being pushed out of a taxi by unidentified individuals.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident took place between Star Junction and Agric Junction. Residents in the area noticed the woman being forcibly ejected from a moving taxi, which prompted them to raise an alarm. However, the perpetrators sped off before they could be apprehended.
Despite the efforts of bystanders who rushed to assist the woman, she tragically succumbed to her injuries shortly after the incident. The police were promptly notified, and they have since transported the body to the morgue.
The police have identified the family of the deceased and have launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident and to apprehend the individuals responsible.
