Renowned African YouTuber, Wode Maya, has hailed Captain Ibrahim Traore’s transformative leadership in Burkina Faso after witnessing the country’s rapid development firsthand.

Following his recent visit, Wode Maya highlighted the significant strides made under Traore’s leadership, particularly in infrastructure. He noted that until recently, Burkina Faso had just 3,000km of paved roads since independence. However, under Traore, the country now plans to construct 5,000km of roads annually.

What makes the transformation even more remarkable, according to Wode Maya, is that the government is executing these projects using local resources. The state has invested in construction equipment and trained the youth to spearhead the roadworks themselves, fostering self-reliance and national pride.

“This is the real African revolution we’ve all been waiting for — a country empowering its own people to build their future,” Wode Maya said.

He urged other African leaders to emulate Traore’s model of leadership, emphasizing that true progress comes when governments trust and invest in their own people.
