Where Were You When Alpha Condé Was Amending The Constitution? – Serwaa Amihere Questions ECOWAS Chair

Yesterday, the news of a successful coup in Guinea led by Colonel Mamadi Doubouya went viral after a live telecast confirming the overthrow of current President, Alpha Condè.

Following the incident, ECOWAS Chair and president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo Released a press statement condemning the action of the soldiers and called for swift steps to contain the situation.

Serwaa Amihere who is a Media personality in Ghana after the press statement however took to Twitter to ask questions.

She asked to know what actions ECOWAS took following alleged attempts to change constitution.

President Alpha Condè was also accused of Human rights and election rigging offenses in his bid to grip onto power.

Alpha Condè was Guinea’s President since 2010.
