John Setor Dumelo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has expressed strong optimism about winning the constituency seat in the upcoming December 7 elections.
His comments came as the Special Voting exercise began on Monday, December 2, at the Legon Police Station in the constituency. The Special Voting allows eligible voters, including election officials, security personnel, and media representatives involved in the elections, to cast their ballots ahead of the general election.
Speaking to Citi News, Dumelo expressed his satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the process and reaffirmed his confidence in securing victory once the final results are announced.
He stated, “We know we are going to be victorious at the end of the day. We made some mistakes in 2020, but we have corrected those mistakes. We have identified our opponent’s weaknesses and are using that to our advantage. By the end of the day on December 7, we are confident of our victory. We are well-prepared.”
