
VIP Jeoun Transport has announced an upward adjustment in transport fares across its nationwide routes, with the new pricing set to take effect on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
The fare increase applies to both standard tour and executive coach services, impacting passengers travelling from Accra to key destinations across the country.
Under the revised pricing structure, passengers using standard services will now pay GH¢120 from Accra to Kumasi, GH¢170 to Sunyani, and GH¢290 to Tamale. Fares to northern routes have also increased, with travel to Bolgatanga set at GH¢330 and Wa at GH¢320.
Executive coach passengers will also see higher fares, with tickets from Accra to Kumasi now costing GH¢150, Accra to Sunyani at GH¢200, and Accra to Tamale rising to GH¢360.
For longer-distance travel, fares from Accra to Navrongo and Bawku have been set at GH¢420 and GH¢430 respectively.
The company also announced adjustments to intercity routes originating from Kumasi, including GH¢210 from Kumasi to Tamale and GH¢250 to Bolgatanga.
According to the company, the revised fares were approved by management and are applicable across all operational routes.
The announcement comes amid rising transportation costs in Ghana, largely driven by increases in fuel prices and broader economic pressures affecting the transport sector.
