The University of Ghana has suspended 14 students for two academic years due to acts of disorderly conduct and breaches of institutional rules.
A statement issued by the university on Monday indicated that the decision followed investigations conducted by the Disciplinary Committee into various cases of student misconduct. The suspended students are prohibited from participating in any academic or extracurricular activities during the suspension period.
In addition, the university has sanctioned 97 students for their involvement in examination malpractices. These penalties were issued after disciplinary hearings confirmed violations of exam regulations.
Two other students received official reprimands for inappropriate behaviour.
The university reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining discipline and safeguarding academic integrity across the institution.
