The Ghana Police Service has arrested two additional suspects in connection with the robbery and murder incident at Fufulso Junction, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to five.
The arrests were carried out by a special team deployed by the Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, following the violent attack that occurred on March 8, 2026.

The joint operation involved the IGP’s Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team and the Anti-Armed Robbery Unit from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Headquarters in Accra.
On March 12, 2026, officers arrested three suspects identified as Habibata Kojo, 29; Ibrahim Sumaila, 35; and Alhassan Yusif, believed to be about 40 years old. A day later, on March 13, two additional suspects — Dramani Imoro, 24, and Sayibu Iddi, 50 — were also apprehended.

The suspects are linked to the robbery attack that took place around 7:30 p.m. at Golden Linq Ventures, a mobile money vending shop in Fufulso Junction.
The attack resulted in the killing of a mobile money operator, Mahama Majeed, and another victim.
Initial investigations indicate that six suspects, including one woman, carried out the robbery. The group reportedly used AK-47 rifles concealed under long coats during the attack.
Police further disclosed that a search conducted at Dramani Imoro’s residence uncovered an unregistered Toyota Voxy vehicle allegedly purchased 72 hours after the robbery, an unregistered Haojue motorbike, and two smartphones.
All suspects and the recovered items remain in police custody as investigations continue.
The police say efforts are ongoing to track and arrest other accomplices believed to be involved in the crime.
Authorities have also appealed to residents in the Savannah Region to provide any information that could assist in locating other suspects connected to the robbery and murder case.
