The Ghana Police Service has taken two individuals into custody in relation to the death of a US citizen at Nyinasen, near Cape Coast in the Central Region.
The suspects, identified as Wisdom Sete, a Togolese national, and Yussif Afrim, were apprehended on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Assin Prasso for their alleged involvement in the demise of Naomi Jehubiyah.
Initial investigations by the police suggest that Wisdom Sete, reportedly the deceased’s fiancé, colluded with Yussif Afrim to carry out the alleged murder of Naomi Jehubiyah.
The deceased’s body has been transferred to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and further examination.
Additionally, two vehicles registered to the deceased have been recovered from the suspects, who are presently under arrest and cooperating with the ongoing police investigations.
