Ghanaian actress and TV presenter, Beverly Afaglo has disclosed that Ghanaian dancehall musician Stonebowy was the first celebrity to make donation to her after she lost her home to fire.
The actress made this revelation during an interview with Abeiku Santana on United Showbiz telecasted on UTV.
Recall about two months ago, fire gutted the house of Beverly Afaglo leaving her homeless.
It destroyed the entire building and all its contents, leaving only its brick frame.
This unfortunate incident happened on Monday, August 9, 2021.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained but its level of destruction is all too visible.
The actress, who is also the wife of Eugene Baah, well known as Choirmaster of Praye fame, took to her Instagram page to break the sad news.
“My house burnt down to ashes within 4hrs …Everything gone. I’m left with what I wore out that’s all,” she wrote on her IG page.
She was, however, thankful they escaped unhurt.
“Thank God there are no casualties but where do I start from? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.”
Following that, some concern Ghanaian celebrities came together to raise some funds to help her restart life over again.
However, it wasn’t when some critics started bashing her and the support she was receiving, she angrily came live on social media to tell Ghanaians she no longer needs their support since some people were taking the advantage of the situation to insult her.
Speaking on the show, Beverly Afaglo noted that few minutes after the news of the fire went viral, Stonebwoy called her and said sister this not about sorry take this money and so something with it after consoling her.
She further noted soon after Stonebwoy’s call and donation other celebs joined to support her.
