Stonebwoy has made a sly swipe at presumably those who reject his stance during the ongoing debate over who or what criteria qualifies one as a Grammy nominee.
According to a strange post seen on dancehall rapper Livingston Satekla’s Snapchat page, the dancehall artiste is upset about remarks questioning his Grammy nomination’s veracity.
He posted, “ Chairman is so quick to remove credit on a kid! We know them oo. But we think say them change o chai them never change.”

Since the news of Stonebwoy’s alleged many Grammy nominations broke, some industry insiders, including Citi FM’s Kwame Dadzie and Rocky Dawuni, have questioned his claim.
Stonebwoy’s ‘contentious’ nomination is based on his contributions to two nominated albums.
There is a distinction, according to Rocky Dawuni, between being a featured artist on a nominated record and having your entire body of work recognized. In the interview, he also stated that a contribution (feature) does not automatically qualify one for a Grammy nomination.
“You have contributed to the song, but you are not a nominee. The thing is, I am not the one saying it. You should go to the Academy website and see who the nominees are.
“I think that sometimes…been featured on a record is a great achievement. It’s really great, but we have to also recognize what is… we can’t create our own rules here and be using those rules,” Rocky Dawuni claimed.
Stonebwoy does not appear to appreciate this explanation and clarity.
His recent social media behavior has sparked a lot of speculation, with many people questioning if he’s truly making fun of his boss.
