Stonebwoy Extends Apology to Chef Failatu for Missing Guinness World Record Cook-a-thon in Tamale

In a surprising encounter at Kotoka International Airport, Stonebwoy has issued a heartfelt apology to Chef Failatu Abdul Razak for his absence at her Guinness World Record cook-a-thon in Tamale. The reggae-dancehall artist clarified that his nonattendance was unintentional and expressed regret to both Faila’s and his own fans, citing his demanding schedule, particularly his commitment to support the Black Stars at the 2023 AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire.

Chef Failatu had previously called out top Ghanaian artists, including Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, for not showing up at the venue where she aimed to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cook-a-thon. Stonebwoy, passing through the airport, took the opportunity to convey his apology, stating, “I just want to apologize to all Faila’s fans and my fans that I couldn’t make it to Tamale because of my schedule. See where I’m passing—the airport.”
