The Church Of Pentecost has built an Utra-Modern prison complex at Ejura to help ease de-congestion of prisons in Ghana.
A sod was cut for the construction of this 300 bed capacity prison camp in July 2019 as part of the church’s security based projects captured in its vision 2023.
The prison has facilities such as, vocational and technical training workshop, recreational center, a church building and baptistery.
The edifice also has a football pitch, modernized washrooms, mechanized boreholes, offices infirmary, dining hall amongst others.
Meanwhile, some Ghanaians on twitter think the church should have used that money to build companies which would eventually create jobs for Ghanaians instead of prison.
Well, GHOneTV broadcaster, Serwaa Amihere has wondered why Ghanaians would slander the church instead of praising for doing what the government has failed to do.
Check below for the mixed reactions from twitter users on the prison project by the Church of Pentecost.
