Real Madrid secured their spot in the UEFA Champions League final after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the second leg of their semi-final clash, winning 4-3 on aggregate. Joselu was the hero for Madrid, scoring a late brace to overturn Bayern’s lead and secure the win.

The match was a tense affair, with both teams creating chances in the first half. Vinicius hit the post for Madrid, while Neuer made a stunning save to deny Rodrygo. However, it was Bayern who took the lead in the 68th minute, as substitute Alphonso Davies scored his first Champions League goal with a precise finish.

Madrid thought they had equalized through a De Ligt own goal, but it was ruled out for a foul. However, they kept pushing and were rewarded in the 88th minute when Joselu capitalized on a Neuer mistake to poke the ball home. He then added a second in injury time to seal the win for Madrid.

Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has also made history by reaching his sixth Champions League final, two more than any other manager in the history of the competition. Madrid will now face Dortmund in the final at Wembley at the start of June, while Bayern will turn their focus to their Bundesliga campaign.
