Dr. Pelpuo will co-chair the global dialogue alongside Hon. Ali Bin Saeed Samikh Al Marri, Qatar’s Minister of Labour. The session will be supported by the Secretary-General of the International Trade Union Confederation and the Secretary-General of the International Organisation of Employers, underscoring the conference’s commitment to tripartite collaboration among governments, workers, and employers.

The ILO conference will centre on advancing fair and ethical recruitment practices, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding migrant and vulnerable workers from exploitation, deceptive contracts, exorbitant recruitment fees, and forced labour.
