 Police Launch Investigation into Death of Two Children in Tamale

The Ghana Police Service has initiated an investigation into the tragic deaths of two children in Kakpayili, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region. The bodies of the children were discovered on June 30, 2024, inside an abandoned vehicle within one of the compounds in the Kakpayili community.

The children had been reported missing on June 25, 2024, prompting a search operation by concerned family members and authorities. Sadly, their bodies were found in the aforementioned vehicle, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

In order to determine the cause of death, the bodies of the two deceased children have been transported to the Tamale Teaching Hospital Morgue for preservation and autopsy. As the investigation progresses, the police are working diligently to gather evidence and uncover any potential leads that may shed light on this tragic incident.
