The Ghana Police Service are currently probing the circumstances surrounding the passing of Bennet Adomah Agyekum in the Madina area of the Greater Accra Region.
Initial findings indicate that on Sunday, October 8, 2023, Mr. Agyekum was discovered in a Madina residence, lying in a pool of blood. He was swiftly transported to a medical facility for urgent care but, unfortunately, was declared deceased upon arrival.
In connection to this case, the police have taken into custody Yandeh Joof, believed to have had a relationship with the deceased. Ms. Joof is actively assisting in the ongoing investigation.
The deceased’s body has been placed in the morgue at the Police Hospital for preservation and will undergo an autopsy as the investigation unfolds. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
