Otto Addo Confident Ghana Can Still Qualify for 2025 AFCON

Black Stars coach Otto Addo remains optimistic about Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) despite recent disappointing results.

After a goalless draw against Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium and a 2-0 loss in the return leg, Ghana currently sits third in Group F with only two points from four matches. Despite the setbacks, Addo insists the team can still make it to the tournament.

“Mathematically, there’s still a chance, and we will do everything in our power to keep this hope alive,” Addo told Ghana FA Media.

Ghana must win their final two qualifiers in November and hope that Sudan drops points to secure a spot in the tournament.
