A tragic accident on the Obuasi-Kwapia road in the Ashanti Region has left one person dead and others injured. The incident occurred on Sunday, October 20, 2024, around 1:45 p.m.
According to reports, a Dodge vehicle with registration number WR 810-S veered off its lane and collided with a Ford transit bus, registered AS 4116-4, driven by 28-year-old Emmanuel Manu, who had 11 passengers on board.
The injured were rushed to the Obuasi Government Hospital for treatment, while the deceased’s body has been deposited at the hospital morgue. This accident follows a similar tragedy a week earlier that claimed 13 lives.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
