Nine Injured in NPP-NDC Clash at Mamobi; Police Launch Manhunt for Perpetrators

Nine individuals were injured in a violent clash between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Mamobi, Accra, on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

According to a press release from the Ghana Police Service, seven of the injured have been treated and discharged, while two others remain in the hospital receiving care.

The police have since restored calm in the area and initiated an intelligence-led operation to track down the perpetrators, who have already been identified. The authorities have assured the public that those responsible will be brought to justice.
