The incident occurred on Monday, but the victim, an unnamed British man accompanied by a friend, fortunately did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

According to a police source, the 58-year-old man was attacked by a group of individuals wearing hoods, resulting in injuries to his arm and back. He was promptly taken to a Milan hospital, where he is expected to be discharged soon. An investigation is underway to determine whether the attack was related to the football match.
