Ghanaians will begin paying a new passport fee of GHC350 starting Thursday, November 13, 2025, following a reduction from the previous GHC500, according to Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

The fee adjustment is part of the government’s initiative to ease the financial burden on citizens and enhance access to essential public services. It also fulfils a commitment to review passport processing costs and make travel documents more affordable for Ghanaians.

The new fee will apply to all Passport Application Centres (PACs) nationwide and covers standard application services.
