Parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),for the North New Juaben constituency, Sampson Oti Boateng, has been reported dead after a short illness.
The late Mr Boateng, who emerge as the Parliamentary candidate of the NDC for his contituency after defeating Emmanuel Kwaku Asante, a former Municipal Chief Executive by 316 to 229 votes during the NDC’s primaries in 2019 to become the party’s candidate for the December 7 parliamentary elections,was confirmed dead at a hospital in the Eastern region.

It has been alleged that,he was not feeling before his sudden his death.
The late NDC candidate was supposed to have filed his nomination on Thursday, October 8, 2020, before this his sudden death and celebrate his 43rd birthday on October 19, 2020.
